2009.
The second studio album "Covers" has been announced and the
lead single "Walking On Sunshine" will be released on July 1st
2009, with the new music video. With an interview with the BBC
Kenneth Tide stated that the new album of cover versions is something that he always wanted to do since starting in the music business, and that he hopes that the new album "Covers" will be as successful as the first "Wavez".
2009 is going to be another big step up the ladder for Turning
Tide with the release of their debut album "Wavez" in June and a
UK tour in summer, with a success in UK, USA and Australia
Turning Tide are becomming internation dance sensations, fans are already looking forward to the release of a second studio album and new music videos, Turning Tide are turning dance music forever.The debut album "Wavez" is out now! already making head way in the charts, Kenneth Tide is also about to set out on the UK
tour "Choral Shield 09". Choral Shield 09 was an amazing experance and the performance was great the three shows were sellouts and in total over 5000 people came to see the show.
2008.
Turning Tide started in January 2008, for the first 6 months, I produced 12 tracks for my debut album "Wavez". On August 25th 2008 the first song "Radio Wavez" went online, it was very popular on sites like; Sound Click, Garage Band and My Music Stream. Turning Tide caught the attention of "Lot 49 Records", and for them a second song "Back 4 Me" was released. The song also did well all over the internet. "Lot 49 Records" was apart of the online community "Sound Cloud" and when "Sound Cloud" was almost bankrupt the site became available to the public and lost all profits and publishing rights, so the act was dropped in the UK. But one last song was released in order to try to attract new customers to the site "Sound Cloud" the tracks name was changed to match the site. The song caught the attention of US label "Elma Pix Records". Turning Tide signed with the label. Elma Pix changed the previous three songs into one new EP "Turning Tide - Turning Tide EP". All over the internet the EP sold well, it topped many charts peaking at #1 in My Music Stream. At the end of 2008 Turning Tide flew out to America and then to France shoot 2 new videos.
